The Yard Laborer is responsible for the customer service experience at our Langford transfer station. Duties will also include general yard clean-up, manual lifting, pushing bins, sweeping, and general cleaning throughout the yard in order to maintain production and cleanliness of the facility.

Job Duties

• Customer Service
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collect loose, blown debris, garbage around property
• Traffic control in the yard
• additional duties as assigned by the Yard Supervisor

Requirements

• Able to work as a team
• Customer Service Skills
• Adhere to all company safety requirements
• Wear and maintain PPE at all times on the property
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Experience with a forklift and / or bobcat an asset.
