The opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Integration Lead to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada. 

As a Technical Integration Lead, you will work collaboratively with project teams to understand business requirements, evaluate technologies, recommend integration options, and plan for IT solutions that meet the business needs. You will be involved in the Corporation’s core systems transformation and modernization road map, with a heavy focus on Microsoft Azure. 

This role requires a hands-on individual to provide technical coaching and mentorship to the other team members and to research, design and develop new solutions. You will play a key part in projects underway, as well as ensuring sustainable technical solutions are successfully implemented.


What do you need to succeed?

  • Must have
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and eight years of experience in a complex application environment, supporting large, diverse, corporate business applications. 
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of eight years of recent experience in systems integration.
  • Experience in the design, implementation, integration, and operation of enterprise-wide integration solutions. 
  • Experience with distributed application architectures.
  • Experience working with both waterfall and agile systems development life cycle.
  • Nice to have
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex enterprise IM/IT projects with multiple interdependencies including major business transformations.
  • Experience in application development with a variety of system development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
  • Experience in various technologies including: Oracle& MS SQL Server databases and warehouses, ETL processes, Enterprise Reporting solutions, Web Services and integration APIs, Document Management. 
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Event Driven Architecture (EDA). 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud services.
