TEAM LEAD, IT ENVIRONMENT SERVICES

As a key member of the Information Technology team, you are responsible for managing, planning and tracking of production and pre-production hosting environments, utilized by project and operations. You are responsible for evaluating requests for environments, scheduling, tracking, documenting, and managing delivery in a timely manner. You are responsible for overall infrastructure capacity planning, reporting and forecasting, and you work with the IT team to ensure capacity requirements and environments are within the acceptable build parameters. You assist in the transition of project environments to sustainment, production and Disaster Recovery.
You provide capacity usage metrics, consumption and trending analysis for reporting and dashboard purposes, and you create and maintain appropriate technology infrastructure artefacts contributing to the CMDB repository.
You have demonstrated the ability to foster positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, building trust through goal alignment and transparency. You are able to drive toward results, and ensure high-quality standards and complete requirements are met, while working within a complex fast-paced environment where priorities often compete and change.
You have a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Business or other IT related discipline. Oracle Database / Middleware, VM Ware and / or Operating System Administration certification would be an asset.
ITIL, COBIT or TOGAF certifications would be an asset, in addition to Dev-Ops training and or certification.
You are experienced with:
- UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, VMWare and Citrix;
- Backups and restoring using enterprise class availability solutions;
- Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases, and Oracle middleware;
- DBA and Server Administration;
- Solid understanding of client/server and n-tier architectures;
- Solid experience and understanding of capacity management, reporting and planning in server hosting environments;
- Building reports and / or dashboards supporting capacity management
