We are looking for a Sommelier-Server to join our team. In this role along with serving you will be our in-house expert on suggesting wines to accompany dishes as they change on the menu, as well as preparing pairings for tasting menus and special events. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining our wine list and cellar on a nightly basis and preparing order lists for the next day. You will assist with educating and training other serving staff about wines so that they can aide guests in making decisions.

You have extensive knowledge of wines and the regions they develop from, both globally and within British Columbia. You will have previous experience as a sommelier or wine steward, and experience working within the hospitality industry. A Sommelier certification is required.

Wages are based on your skill level and experience, with a salary ranging from $40,000.00 to $55,000.00/year.

Please note, our restaurant is a non-tipping restaurant as we apply a service charge so we can pay our employees a consistent living wage. Extended health and dental benefits are available after a 3-month probation period, and we also offer a complimentary meal and beverage after your shift.
