About the Role

Reporting functionally to the Director of Internal Audit and working closely with the Audit Managers, the Senior Auditor is responsible for conducting assigned internal audit projects primarily related to BCI’s operational areas and investment management services.  Key responsibilities also include developing audit programs based on relevant frameworks and standards; executing audit procedures supported by high quality working papers, communicating findings in a thoughtful, contextual manner, and providing internal audit support as assigned.

• Assists with long-term audit planning
• Plans and organizes audit engagements
• Performs audit engagements
• Communicates findings

WHAT YOU BRING

Must have:

• Minimum of 4 years of current or recent internal audit experience
• CPA and/or professional audit designation
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
• Strong communication skills, including experience writing reports and presentations

Preferred:

• Professional financial or risk management designation (CFA, CRMA). CFA designation considered to be a strong asset
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance or business, or other relevant discipline
• Business process auditing experience
