Retail Store Manager

Victoria, BC

Red Barn Market is looking for a Store Manager with outstanding internal and external customer service skills. This position will be supervising department managers, overseeing daily operations of all departments, and responding promptly to resolve issues or concerns within the store. The Store Manager acts as Red Barn Market’s representative in dealing with the public and staff, demonstrating in language and actions, the values and principles of the organization including outstanding customer service, honesty, and integrity. Job Requirements:

  • Experience working in a grocery retail environment
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively in an organized and tidy fashion
  • Well developed communication skills, both written and oral
  • Outstanding leadership and customer service skills
  • Available days, evenings, and weekends
  • Proficient in financials including Budget, Sales, and Wage Cost
  • Effectively able to merchandise for sales and profit
  • Solid Grocery background and familiar with cash management
