Program Assistants have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, positively impact young lives, create friendships, and earn an excellent wage. 

As a Program Assistant you will work in a variety of camp settings, lead and engage children in activities that will inspire their talents, ignite their creativity, and champion their interests. This role includes the opportunity to lead and mentor Program Assistants. Program Assistants will work cooperatively with participants, parents, and supervisors to ensure camper safety. Camp themes include: General Day camps, 5 – 12 years, and Kids Cooking Camps, 8 – 12 years.

Requirements include completion of Grade 10; three months experience working with children and youth in a recreational, daycamp or instructional setting, including children with behaviour difficulties; satisfactory police information check, Emergency First-Aid and CPR-C. The successful candidates will be required to work varying shifts, Monday through Friday, length and times will vary between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (hours/shifts are subject to change).

Please note: If shortlisted, applicants must provide proof of completion of Grade 10 and current Emergency First Aid and CPR-C at time of interview.
