Who we are looking for:
We have a busy office and we need someone to help us manage it. We’re looking for a confident, mature professional who is detail-oriented and loves to be organized. We need a “take charge” individual who adds an exceptional level of support to our clients and our team.
The duties include:
- Customer service, including assisting with client requests and coordinating information and documents to/from clients in a professional and confidential manner.
- Billing, payments and accounts receivable for the practice.
- Client bookkeeping, including posting and reconciling bank and credit cards in QBO or Sage.
- Personal income tax preparation, including gathering, sorting, organizing, entering tax information and electronic filing.
- Preparing and filing government remittances
- Assisting accountants and bookkeepers.
Skills required:
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping/administration experience.
- Post secondary administration or bookkeeping diploma preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal customer service skills.
- Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Working knowledge of accounting software: Sage/Simply Accounting and Quickbooks Online.
