Full Stack Developer
$72,724.97 - $83,014.85 annually plus 9.9% Temporary Market Adjustment
The Ministry of Citizen Services’ Information Management Branch is transforming to become a leader in delivery of modern applications and development practices across government. This role will work closely with other developers and DevOps specialists to bring the software needs of our ministry partners to life. This is a unique opportunity to help revolutionize and reshape software engineering in the citizen services context. The Full Stack Developer is responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of scalable web applications in a continuous deployment environment. This role guides the leadership of the technical design, development, integration and implementation of custom applications and the development, testing and implementation of user and system interfaces and designs.

Qualifications for this role include:
- Degree in computer science, Computer or Software engineering or related technical field, and minimum 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer OR
- A comparable related diploma in computer science, Computer or Software engineering or related technical field, and minimum 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer OR
- A comparable certification(s) in computer science, Computer or Software engineering or related technical field and minimum 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Related experience must include:
- Experience using a variety of modern development tools, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript libraries, relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with API development and integration and continuous development environments.
