The opportunity
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.
As a Financial Analyst, you will be a part of a high functioning team of financial professionals. In this role you will support initiatives and projects including implementing an ERP system to assist BC Pension Corporation in becoming an insights-driven organization.
This role requires a client focused individual with technical financial skills to provide value-added analysis to their work. You will work in a collaborative team environment and focus on continuous improvement. This position will have great exposure to senior leaders in the organization and work as a trusted business partner.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- Diploma or degree in the field of financial management, such as Level 1 or 2 of the Financial Management Certificate Program, Bachelor Of Business Administration / Commerce or CPA, or equivalent.
- Two or more years' experience in conducting financial forecasts and analysis and in supporting budget evaluation processes for multiple business areas.
- Two or more years' experience analyzing financial and accounting statements and recommending reallocations.
- Two or more years' experience developing financial statements and reports.
