New-Line is currently seeking a full-time Counter Sales & Service Rep to join our dedicated team at our Victoria location. This sales role requires a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction and communication skills. Working across multiple industries, the successful candidate will help assess customer needs and hose applications as well as provide on-site repairs and service of New-Line products. This role is customer-facing and requires a high degree of attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new technical skills.   • You have knowledge and experience in a similar industry; industrial part inside or counter sales experience is preferred
  • Experience assembling hoses; including using a crimper, punch lock clamp, or similar an asset
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and are able to respond to customer inquiries, orders, or quotes in a fast and friendly manner
  • You have solid computer skills and are able to pick-up new software easily; utilizing technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency; experience with Sage 300 (Accpac) is an asset
  • You have strong sales and negotiation skills; you’re able to analyze customer needs and make recommendations based on cost, availability or specifications
  • You are very mechanically-inclined; you love working with your hands and would be able to perform product assemblies and repairs ensuring high quality and compliance to product specifications
  • You have a passion for learning and committed to continuing to improve your knowledge; you thrive in a learning environment and are naturally curious; previous product and industry knowledge would be an asset
  • Strong customer service skills; you are helpful and attentive and are committed to doing everything in your power to “keep the customer moving”
  • You ideally have previous warehouse experience; receiving, shipping, inventory, etc.
  • You are able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork is at the forefront of our organization; you possess great teamwork skills and are willing to help out when needed

Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
