Sherwood is a bright, approachable café and bar ​available for eating and drinking throughout the day and night. This is a contemporary take on a European/Australian café, centered around a long bar. It’s the sort of place that Parisians use as an extension of their living rooms, a place to enjoy coffee and eggs in the morning, meet friends for lunch or dinner, or to have a late night bite or night cap. It feels familiar, comfortable and inviting. Like coming home.

We are located at our downtown's prime people-watching crossroads of Douglas Street and Pandora Avenue. When you arrive, the attentive and experienced staff welcome you like a friend. We have a relaxed atmosphere, where people are smiling and laughing, drinking and sharing food; they seem to be in harmony with the surroundings. The music is right, the lighting fits the time of day, and the menu is simple, fresh and familiar. There are no distractions. It's easy here.

The ideal candidate(s) will possess:

Passion for hospitality and taking care of people

Strong appreciation for and interest in coffee

Excellent communication skills

Reliable, professional, and fun work ethic

At least two years serving experience

Full time availability and commitment

This opening is for a full time committed PM server. Availability must include at least one weekend day.
