For over 30 years we have been installing and servicing overhead doors and gate systems for both residential and commercial clients in the greater Victoria area. Our small staff of dynamic employees works together within a team oriented environment to exceed the expectations of our customers.This position requires someone who is highly organized and self-motivated.Key Responsibilities:· Receive deliveries, assist in maintaining inventory, organization of warehouse and products, loading and unloading goods· Create purchase orders, place orders, communicate with various suppliers· Pulling and organizing parts to prepare our technicians for installations and repairs· Local deliveries of parts (vehicle supplied)· Provide site assistance to technicians· Round trip to Vancouver bi-weekly to pick up freight· Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to receive goods· Pack and load products onto truck according to company specifications· Assist with unloading truck and receiving inventoryRequirements:· Previous experience in parts sales and inventory an asset· Requires a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced/high volume environment· Ability to take initiative and prioritize work· Great communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail· Willingness to learn the necessary product knowledge required for the position· Basic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)· Mechanically/Electronically inclined· Physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds· Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license with air brake endorsement and a clean driver’s abstract; proof will be required· Minimum 2 years experience as freight/delivery driverWhat we offer:Permanent, full-time employment Monday through Friday; hours may be flexible for the right candidateCompetitive hourly wage of $20-$25/hr to start and increased after (potentially before) a successful 3 month trial periodOvertime and advancement opportunities availableBenefit plan offered after probation periodAbility to work with a dedicated staff who are supportive and do quality workPart-time hours: 20-40 per weekJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00-$25.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:We are sanitizing, practicing social distancing and limiting customer interactions
