Business Support Advisor

About the Role

The Driver Licensing Strategy & Programs team is seeking two Business Support Advisor to join their team in Victoria. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of business initiatives for the Driver Licensing division by identifying, articulating, and facilitating changes required to address business problems and opportunities.


As a Business Support Advisor, you will consult with both business and external stakeholders in order to understand business needs and identify problems and opportunities. You will gather, analyze and document business requirements, including problem definition, gap analysis, impact assessment and risk mitigation options. You will leverage and interpret analytics to support data driven decision making. You will support our team of DL Program Advisors by providing analysis, advice and recommendations as required.


Position Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in a large, complex organisation
  • A thorough understanding of analytical methods and concepts
  • Exceptional listening skills and the ability to organize complex data
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and to adapt to respond effectively and efficiently to opportunities as they arise
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work with personnel at all levels
  • Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize amongst multiple projects and work with limited guidance
  • General knowledge of drivers licensing products and legislative practices
  • An undergraduate degree, or equivalent level of related work experience
  • Business Analysis Certification is an asset
