$66,557.72 - $75,884.38 annually plus 6.6% Temporary Market Adjustment


The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) regulates all gambling in British Columbia and ensures the integrity of gambling industry companies, people, and equipment. This includes regulatory oversight of commercial gambling conducted and managed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (e.g., lotteries, casinos, community gaming centres, commercial bingo halls and online gambling on PlayNow.com), British Columbia’s horse racing industry, and licensed charitable gambling events. GPEB is also responsible for the administration of Gambling Support BC and, through their programming, for reducing harms from gambling products.


As a Business Analyst, you will provide technology planning, business analysis, systems design and client support services. You will also provide technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent, medium sized projects from initiation to completion. This will include the research and development of business cases including technological alternatives, cost benefit analysis, revenue implications, program area resources and policy/procedural enhancements. If you’re ready to take on a challenging new role, we encourage your application.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field.
  • Experience providing business analysis related to integrated custom applications with complex business processes.
  • Experience leading technology service delivery projects, including leading service and technology enhancements.
  • Preference may be given to candidates who have acquired a CaPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP (Project Management Professional) designation.
