The Assistant Deputy Minister, Corporate Information and Records Management Office has statutory responsibility as government’s Chief Records Officer under the Information Management Act.
This role is responsible for leading government’s corporate information management programs, services, policy and legislation. They provide leadership for existing information management systems and emerging technologies. This includes providing legislative process support for approximately 20 acts for which the ministry is responsible. This role will also represent provincial information management interests when engaging with audiences such as the federal government, provincial and territorial partners, the broader public sector and key stakeholder groups.
The ideal candidate has a post-secondary degree and substantive leadership experience in information management, public or business administration, financial management. They have experiencing advising senior audiences including elected officials and senior public servants on complex issues, risks and options.
