Account Coordinator

Remote (Victoria, BC) +1

We're looking for an Account Coordinator who will be at the epicentre of client success. Be the driving force behind the seamless orchestration of partnership bookings, flawless execution of ad campaigns, and diligent management of creative assets.


As an Account Coordinator, you'll engage directly with clients, bringing out commitment to their success into every interaction. You bring a keen eye for detail and a steadfast commitment to communication, coordination, and creative problem-solving. Your dedication will shape client experiences, foster long-term partnerships, and ensure our community media brands shine. 


This is a remote position based in Canada.


ABOUT YOU

  • You bring at least 1 year of experience in a sales support or marketing coordinator-type of role, or a similar role.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some of your super powers include planning, organization, and time management.
  • You're able to manage a high volume of work and don't make many mistakes – but you learn from them when you do.
  • You're a self starter. You take initiative, identify opportunities for improvement, and take action. 
  • You have an exceptional eye for detail and quality control.
  • You have experience and knowledge with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Photoshop, ClickUp or Asana, Hubspot, Beehiiv or Substack, ChatGPT, and Slack.
  • You're able to find solutions to improve our operations, and utilize project management skills to execute on them.
  • You can adapt and change to new platforms, tech, and tools.


NICE TO HAVE

  • You've worked in a media organization.
  • You've worked to produce a print newspaper.


IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Handle client campaigns end-to-end, including booking dates, collecting and managing creative assets, gaining necessary approvals, uploading and embedding creatives into publishing systems, collecting data, and sending reports. 
  • Support sales reps by ensuring inventory availability requests are reviewed promptly.
  • Work with design team to create assets as needed.
  • Analyze data to see trends and recommend areas of improvements, for both clients and the company.
  • Work with a creative and motivated team to support the business as a whole.
